    Had 4 meals from here, not great, quite greasy and no idea of how clean kitchen is. Below average

    If you value your health and your appetite, stay well away from this place. I can honestly hands down say it was the WORST Chinese I have ever had.

    I knew from the onset when opening my hot and sour soup we were in for a rough ride. It was brown, chilli gloop served in a polystyrene coffee cup. There was no flavour. Just heat and it was the texture of goo. There was no tang that you'd normally expect with H&S.

    The duck was the most shocking, it had a hair in it and all we got was gristle and a massive bit of (un-crispy) skin. It was pre-shredded. The one piece of edible looking meat was rock hard as if it had been re-cooked for the umpteenth time over. It was absolutely disgusting. Even the cucumber had dried out and was blatantly old. Unbelievable.

    My 'Szechwan chicken' was bizarre. It looked as if they'd tried to deep fry the chicken first but it had been sitting in the tomato ketchup-like sauce for an age and had melted into the chicken. Like a second skin. VOM!

    Others had the egg foo yung, which had been bulked out with a load of bean sprouts to save on the meat - is there even supposed to be bean sprouts in this dish?! Definitely not that many I can bet. Not very nice.

    A disgustingly watery curry with uncooked mushrooms and flavourless prawns. Could the title 'curry' instead be advertised as 'yellow dish water' from now on please.

    It was actually shocking! It was truly so vile we're not sure we'll be able to eat again. Til tomorrow... ;) honestly though we were really taken aback at how rancid everything was it was amazing they felt they could sell this.

    Tellingly, when we rang to request a full refund, there were no questions asked and they we're more than happy to refund us. When does that ever happen without a fight or full explanation?? They must be used to it.
